Question: Is there a deadline for creating a team?
Answer: Yes. In order for the team to qualify for awards, the deadline for team donations is September 29 , 2009.

Question: What time does the Buddy Walk start?
Answer: The Buddy Walk Agenda is as follows:
7:30 am – Registration
9:00 to 9:30 am – Flag and Awards Ceremony
9:30 am -The Buddy Walk begins
 9:45 am to 11:30 am - Family Fun time begins with a Continental Breakfast,  Jamba Juice, Blue Bell Icecream, snow cones, cotton candy, game booths, DJ Ron’s music and dancing, exhibits, moon bounces, rock climbing, pony and train rides, and more fun than you can imagine!


Question: When is money being collected for the walk?
Answer: Money is collected up until and including the day of the Buddy Walk.


Question: How do I send a donation by mail?
Answer: When sending in a donation by mail, please include a note indicating which Buddy Walk team the donation will go towards or to the SDSA general fund. Please mail your donation to:

Question: Where does the money go that is donated to Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona?
Answer: SDSA never charges parents for the resources they offer. Over 90 cents of every dollar donated goes to our parental support programs and services we offer. Our monthly newsletter has about 1,000 subscribers.  The new parent packets are loaded with books, pamphlets, CD’s, a DVD to empower and give hope. Each month we make meetings available to our parents with fantastic speakers. With our Buddy Walk, Christmas and Easter celebrations, we enjoy celebrating each life!


Question: Can I donate money any time of the year and not just for the Buddy Walk?
Answer: Of course! We are always grateful for all donations, no matter how large or small. SDSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so your donation is tax-deductible. Question: How do I register if I don’t have access to a computer?
Answer: Just call our office at 480-926-6500 and we can send you a registration form to fill out and send back to us! You may know someone with computer access also and they can download the form online and print a copy. Just go to www.sharingds.org, Buddy Walk and Downloadable Sign Up Form.
